From curves to leaner built, Liza Golden-Bhojwani knows how win her followers

Model Liza Golden-Bhojwani opens up about her journey from starving her body to embracing her curves. This plus-size model, who was born and raised in Texas, is quite proud of her transformation. She actually became aware of her body when she was 20. This plus-sized beauty has managed to garner newfound fame. During an interview, Liza Golden-Bhojwani said that she used to consume only 500 calories and exercised four hours a day. Liza Golden-Bhojwani started modelling at the age of 17. She was thin by fashion industry standards, but later she inspired several to gain weight. She struggled with gruelling diets that consisted of lean protein, steamed vegetables and healthy fats. Liza, who was skinny during her modelling days, started piling on those extra inches. She reminded the world to accept bodies of all size. Many clients started to complain about Liza's inability to fit into the tiny sizes they produced. There was a point in her life where Liza was taking only a few calories a day with 20 different vitamins. Liza Golden-Bhojwani was having a tough time socialising with friends, as it was hard to avoid food followed by binge eating that would lead her to fast for days. Earlier, this model was obsessed with her weight and used to work out rigorously for hours. Plus-sized model Liza said it's important to think before putting one's health at risk. Later, Liza decided to take some time off and focus on her inner happiness rather than calorie count and numbers on a scale. This model took two years off until she found her soulmate. She met her husband Karan Bhojwani on her “soul-searching” trip to India. Model Liza never stopped working out, but her continuous weight gain didn't bother her anymore. Liza, who was a dangerously thin runway model, said that it's hard to convince women to accept their natural curves. This model used to exercise five times a week with a trainer and maintained a healthy diet. She loves to indulge in her favourite treats such as pizza, cheeseburgers, French fries and ice cream. She usually eats out on weekends. Liza believes that there’s only one life to live, and she doesn't want to live it in fear. Model Liza is much happier now than she was at her thinnest.
